Is achieving a natural 20 inch waist possible?

Is achieving a natural 20 inch waist possible?

A 20 inch waist is well below the average waist size for women. In fact, 20 inches is a normal waist size for a 3 to 4-year-old child. So when you look at the facts, it appears that sculpting a 20″ waist is close to impossible for an adult woman.

But that doesn’t mean that some women haven’t tried and succeeded. Indeed, this article will show you some models with a 20 inch waist and explain how these women get their waistlines so slim.

In a word? Tiny. A 20 inch waist looks extremely small on a woman or teenager of any height and build. A 20 inch waistline is so small, in fact, that the average woman could get into the leanest shape of her life and still not have a 20 inch stomach or anywhere close to it.

A 20 inch waist on an adult woman may also look disproportional, especially if your hips are significantly wider, which would result in a very exaggerated hourglass figure.

If you have a young child in your family, then take a look at their waist because it will most likely be around 20 inches if they’re 3 or 4 years old.

Who has a 20 inch waist?

Here are two women who managed to get a 20 inch waist.

Aleira Avendaño

Aleira Avendaño is a Venezuelan model who has a 20 inch waist, a size which took her 6 years of waist training to achieve. [1]

Aleira has had a number of surgeries to enhance her appearance, and her staggering proportions get attention whenever she goes out in public, something that her father found hard to get used to.

Although Aleira hasn’t encountered any health problems from her aggressive waist slimming regime, which includes wearing a corset for 23 hours per day (she only takes it off to get washed), her doctor has warned against any more reductions in the size of her already tiny waistline.

Ioana Spangenberg

Romanian model Ioana Spangenberg has a natural 20 inch waist at a height of 5′6″. Although she eats three meals a day and snacks on chocolate and crisps, Ioana claims that people don’t believe her diet. [2]

Ioana has a striking hourglass figure, but one which is unattainable for virtually every woman on earth because they don’t have her genetics.

Indeed, she reports having had a very small waist as a teenager, so it’s not all that surprising that the model now has a jaw-dropping twenty inch waist as an adult.

Is it possible to have a 20 inch waist and 40 inch hips?

While perhaps not completely impossible, getting a 20 inch waist and 40 inch hips naturally isn’t possible for 99.99% of women.

There are, of course, women who have achieved these proportions through surgery.

But getting the same proportions naturally is much harder because if you have a genuine 20″ waist, then you likely don’t have the body size (gluteal muscle and fat) to have 40 inch hips.

Is it bad to have a 20 in waist?

While having a 20 in waist isn’t necessarily bad in terms of aesthetics, the process of slimming your waistline to 20 inches is what’s particularly damaging.

As you saw above, the only people who have a 20 inch waistline are those who had surgery, those who perform aggressive waist training, and those with extreme and rare genetics.

While some women can’t help being genetically skinny, others could be risking their long-term health by wearing training corsets for prolonged periods of time.

Health professionals have voiced concern that these devices, which have been around for hundreds of years, can damage the internal organs and cause both breathing and digestive issues due to the amount of pressure that they put on the abdominal area.

Conclusion: Who can realistically get a natural 20 inch waist?

A woman who has a 20 in waist

Considering that only young children have a natural 20 inch waist, it’s completely unrealistic for a grown adult to get a 20 in waist without resorting to potentially dangerous body shaping methods.

If you do have a 20″ waist and are not extremely short, then your waist could be an indication that you’re underweight, in which case you should seek to increase your body mass by consuming a higher quantity of nutritious, calorie-dense foods. [3]

Of course, it’s still completely possible to have a small waist while being perfectly healthy. However, there’s no need to get a twenty inch waist, in particular, because the average woman has a waistline that’s almost twice as big!
