A BMI of 15 and a BMI of 15.5 are both very low for men and women. So what does this mean for your health?
Schema
For most people, it is not possible to reach a BMI of 9 because the body wouldn’t be able to support life at such a horrifyingly low body mass index.
Is it possible to have a BMI of 10? For most people, probably not. After all, fatalities have been recorded at significantly higher BMIs than 10.
It’s likely impossible for a human to reach a BMI of 11, considering that a BMI a few points higher than this could well be fatal.
While it is technically possible for a person to have a BMI of 12 if they have an extremely low body weight, this isn’t the case for everyone.
A BMI of 8 is almost incomprehensibly low. It suffices to say that virtually no human being would be able to reach such a low body mass index.
It’s not possible for a human to reach a BMI of 7 because the body can’t sustain itself at such an unthinkably low body mass index.
It’s impossible to reach a BMI of 6 because the human body cannot sustain itself at such a (literally) unbelievably low body mass index.
Is a 28 BMI bad ? Yes, a BMI of 28 is generally seen as a bad body mass index for males and females because it’s in the overweight category.
A BMI of 26 is considered overweight for women and men even though it is nearly four BMI points lower than average.
